Did you know it’s possible to extend the life of your rubber tracks with regular maintenance? Download our Maintenance Guide for a few quick rubber track maintenance tips that will help keep your tracks running for as long as possible.
There are a few things you should do every day, like cleaning out the undercarriage and tracks with a pressure washer. Once that is done, you’ll be able to do a visual inspection of the undercarriage and the tracks. Look for cuts, tears, cracks or excessive wear. The tracks should move smoothly. Rollers and idlers should rotate smoothly under power.
Sprockets should not have missing teeth, and the teeth should not be overly worn, nor should they be sharp. Check the track tension. Check all fluid levels and conditions, including hydraulic lines. Inspect the cab and canopy for damage and ensure that grab handles and footrests are secure.
